ying an intruder is breaking into her home. After poor judgment on the part of 9-1-1 operator Jordan Turner, played by Halle Berry, the intruder is able to locate where the girl is hiding and kills her. Jordan begs the man to leave the girl alone but it is too late.
The call forces Jordan into a mental state where she feels she can no longer field calls effectively so she is removed from operator and begins teaching up and coming operators. While showing a new lot of 9-1-1 operators the ropes, Jordan is forced to take a call eerily similar to the one she had years earlier.
Casey Welson, played by Abigail Breslin, calls from the trunk of a car after she was abducted from the parking garage at a mall. Calling from a disposable phone, which is untraceable, Casey talks to Jordan for as long as she can, until the kidnapper finds the phone and destroys it. It is then Jordan realizes the man who kidnapped Casey is the same man who killed the girl years earlier running asics .
A couple of things happen that leave the viewer on the edge of their seat and two innocent people end up dead. Determined the outcome will be different, once the disposal phone goes dead, Jordan sets out to find and rescue Casey. Even though this made the movie tak onitsuka tiger mexico 66 womens e a very suspenseful turn, it seemed a little far-fetched. Also the fact that in the beginning of the movie, the lines in the 9-1-1 call center were ringing non-stop but when all this was going on

, the other operators were standing around listening – suddenly all the other calls stopped.
With a flashback we learn the kidnapperkiller, played brilliantly by Michael Eklund, had fallen in love with his sister who turned ill and died. Unable to go on without her, he was looking for a blonde girl with the same type of hair as his sister so he could create a replica. We only know of one other girl he scalped but assume there may have been others.
Jordan finally finds Casey and as the two fight to survive, the ending is a little lackluster. It seemed too humane for the monster that was responsible for the horrific crimes he committed.
If you are looking for a good thriller that will make you think about it long after you left the movie theatre, this is probably not it.
